Join us for a signing with Bruce Levin, author of The Torah Road Trip! The book blends both physical and spiritual journeys to chronicle Levin’s real-life road trip driving a Torah – originally donated by his father in the 1960’s – from the temple he grew up with in Connecticut to his current temple outside Chicago in a rented Chevy Blazer (affectionately dubbed “The Torah Blazer”). Read about the traditions, stories, and connections included in transporting a Torah and reconnecting with what it means to be a father.

Combining the introspective charm of Tuesdays with Morrie and the comedic warmth of Billy Crystal’s 700 Sundays, Levin’s story celebrates the enduring bonds between fathers and sons, the beauty of the Torah and Jewish traditions, and the unexpected revelations that unfold on the open road.
